This is a messed-up question. You’re supposed to derive the acceleration from F/m. Problem is, you’re interested in m(driver), not m(bus). And 500 kN on a person’s seatbelt would damn near cut him in two.
Anyway, let’s suppose, just for fun, that m(driver) = 4000 kg including his protective armor. Then a = F/m = 125 m/s^2. v = sqrt(2as) = sqrt(2*125*1.6) = 20 m/s.
