Anyone aware of a 3 / 4 "motorcycle helmet is really comfortable in hot weather?
I am buying a new helmet, the third in as many months. The last two were too hot in warm weather (a sunny afternoon), causing my head to sweat profusely. I discarded helmets because they are too limiting and shorty helmets for protection is not enough (also using a Scala Rider Cardo says that does not work with this type of helmet). That leaves the traditional 3 / 4 open hull as the only option. My current helmet is silver 3 / 4 open face, but it is uncomfortably hot. I searched the internet for days, but it seems that helmet manufacturers do not consider this issue worthy of any discussion or resolution – most say nothing about the characteristics of warm weather. So I'm turning to other drivers by their own experiences in this matter. Are you aware of a single-sided 3 / 4 open, motorcycle helmet is really comfortable in a warmer climate? If so, your suggestions are appreciated.
Personally I do not feel comfortable in any town any time.
