can i use ATTs unlimited pda data plan with an iphone 3g?
i currently have an ATT Fuze with unlimited data and 3g support can i swap my sim card into an iphone 3g and use it as normal?
the features are both the same cost, but you actually can’t.
cell phones access internet from towers through WAP … and the features that are on your account will give you appropriate access points.
the iphone (as well as the blackberry) have their own specific access point.
things can happen as they aren’t supposed to … so there is potential for it to possibly work, although if that happens then it will also likely fail on you in the future.
the features are the same price. just call care and give them your iphones IMEI and have them swap the feature, power cycle your phone (or do a network settings reset … very important not to do other resets if not needed as the other ones Will cause you to lose some personal info.)
